A self supported tour is the classic, pack your pannier bags and explore an area.
I will come along on the trip having researched the area and rides.
I use a variety of Accommodation providers from Bed and Breakfast and good quality Inns/Hotels to cabins and motels. I try to use independent, non chain type of places as the uniqueness of these are an integral part of the holiday.
My speciality is North America where I have completed eight trips, from tours to Colorado, a tour of Origin to a linear ride where we cycled from North Carolina to washington on the East Coast. As far as I'm aware these tours are unique.
I have explored other areas, notably Norway and will be looking at other areas in the future
I do 1-2 trips of this type a year
